When visitors leave comments (e.g., on blog posts), we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email may be checked against the Gravatar service to see if you're using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Your profile picture is visible publicly once your comment is approved.
